Licences the broker lists FCA · CySEC · FSCA · DFSA·head office London (UK)
The FxPro broker (founded 1999, headquartered in London) is a long-standing broker with a multi-country licence set: FCA/CySEC/FSCA/DFSA.
The Cyprus licence checks out, the Australian licence does not exist
CySEC register on 19/08/2026: CIF 078/07, legal entity FxPro Financial Services Ltd. The name matches the brand and comes up straight away.
The ASIC register on the same day, 6,510 licences, not a single line carries the name FxPro. The broker does not claim ASIC either, so this is a consistent result, not a contradiction. A negative result is also a fact: it tells you where the licence coverage stops.
The 2007 Cyprus licence is among the earliest-issued licences still in force.
FxPro in numbers
FxPro's reputation is the kind you can verify at the source: the CySEC register lists CIF 078/07 in the name of FxPro Financial Services Ltd, while the FCA Register lists FxPro UK Limited with reference number 509956, status Authorised. The brand has been running since 1999; the broker reports serving more than 800,000 clients in more than 170 countries.
So the real question for an FxPro review in 2026 is not “is the broker real”, but: how much do you pay for that long-established label, when the broker's MT4 Standard account spreads are above the industry average. Score across 6 criteria: 4.5/5.
Founded 1999, headquartered in London, UK. Licences: FCA, CySEC, FSCA, DFSA. Platforms: FxPro Trading Platform, TradingView, MT4, MT5 and cTrader. Spreads from 1.2 pip on Standard and from 0.2 pip on cTrader; we found no published minimum deposit.
Checking FxPro's licences: one register matches at once, one comes up empty, and both are correct
CySEC register: CIF 078/07, legal entity FxPro Financial Services Ltd, the name matches the brand. This Cyprus licence, issued in 2007, is among the earliest-issued licences still in force, a detail that speaks to real seniority.
The ASIC register, 6,510 licences: no line carries the name FxPro. Sounds bad? No. The broker does not claim ASIC at all, so the empty result is consistent with what it discloses, not a contradiction.
A negative result is also a fact: it draws the exact boundary of the broker's licence coverage, so you do not mistakenly assume there is a protective umbrella where there is none.
On the UK side, the FCA register lists FxPro UK Limited, reference number 509956, status Authorised, which you can look up yourself at register.fca.org.uk.

Typing "FxPro" into the CySEC search box returns the entity above, so this is a broker you can check yourself by its brand name.
The same regulator keeps one more list that few people open: the domains each entity is allowed to
operate. For FXPRO Financial Services Ltd, that list has
24 domains:
www.fxpro.com, www.fxpro.co.uk, www.fxpro.es and others.
They include www.fxpro-vn.com and www.fxpro.vn, so the domain set
aside for Vietnamese clients sits directly under this licence.
Four licences, but which umbrella covers your account?
FCA, CySEC, FSCA, DFSA, of which the first two belong to the strict group. This list belongs to the group; your account belongs to exactly one legal entity named in the contract.
A familiar scenario for Vietnamese clients at brokers with a multi-entity structure: they are placed with a non-European branch, leverage is loosened, while FCA/CySEC-style compensation schemes stay in Europe with that branch's clients.
To find out where you stand, read the company name line in the account opening terms, a one-minute job that few people do.
FxPro trading fees: 1.2 pip on Standard and what lies beneath it
Costs depend on the account: Standard has spreads from 1.2 pip; Raw+ and Elite run a 0 spread for most of the trading day plus commission of up to 3.5 USD/lot per side; cTrader has spreads from 0.2 pip plus 35 USD per 1 million USD traded.
To say plainly what the price table does not: FxPro's MT4 Standard spreads are above the industry average. Someone placing a few trades a week need not worry; for a high-frequency trader, every tenth of a pip adds up to real money.
When comparing costs between FxPro's own accounts, or between FxPro and another broker, work out the total cost per lot including commission on the pairs you trade most; the bare spread figure is not enough to draw a conclusion.
Deposits and withdrawals at FxPro
Bank transfer, Visa/Mastercard cards and e-wallets can all be used; withdrawal time depends on the method and your verification status.
E-wallets arrive faster than bank transfers, and completing KYC early is always the cheapest way to save time. This is a standard processing pace, not the school of automatic withdrawals measured in seconds.
Four platforms, four personalities
MT4 and MT5 for those who stick with familiar habits and a huge library of EAs. cTrader for those who want ECN-style execution and to see market depth.
FxPro Trading Platform, the broker's own platform, and TradingView for those who prefer a modern charting interface.
What you get and what you accept with FxPro
You get: twenty years of seniority, the kind of record that is hard to fake; four licences, FCA/CySEC/FSCA/DFSA; four platforms covering every taste.
You accept: MT4 Standard spreads above the industry average, so high-frequency traders should weigh another account or another broker; the Vietnamese community using FxPro is thin, so asking about real-world experience will be harder; and no licence in Vietnam.
Is FxPro a scam?
It is not a scam model. The basis: the FCA (509956) and CySEC (078/07) licences can be looked up in the registers, FSCA and DFSA are as declared by the broker, and operation since 1999.
Complaints about FxPro online, read case by case, mostly trace back to three roots: users not understanding the conditions of the account they opened; excessive leverage leading to a blown account and then blaming the broker; and frustration at being asked for additional documents when withdrawing a large amount.
The third root is a compliance procedure that every serious broker runs, not a trick to hold money. And the familiar boundary: FxPro is not licensed in Vietnam, and that part of the risk is yours to bear.
Who FxPro is for, and who it is not for
For: those who choose a broker by seniority plus multi-layered regulation, and those who want the freedom to switch between MT4/MT5, cTrader, TradingView and FxPro Trading Platform without changing broker.
Not for: those who optimise fees at any cost (the Standard spread will annoy them) and beginners who need a large Vietnamese-speaking community. Beginners who still want to try it: small capital, low leverage, trial it long enough before scaling up.

Check FxPro yourself before depositing a large amount
- Real cost. Open the price board on your own account at two different times of day, then add spread and commission into a cost per lot. The figure the broker publishes is an average; what you get on a given trade can be higher.
- Withdrawal speed. Withdraw a small amount first and note when you requested it and when the money arrived. Speed depends on the payment channel and your verification status, so there is no single figure.
- Legal entity. Read the company name in your account terms. That name decides where you can complain.
