Exness deposits and withdrawals: steps, rules and timing

Most questions Vietnamese traders ask about Exness are not about spreads or leverage. They are about money going in and out: which method to use, how long it takes, and why a withdrawal sometimes stops.

Most Exness withdrawals are processed automatically, without a staff member reading each request. Processing time may vary depending on the payment method you choose. Understanding when the system approves a request on its own, and when it hands it to a human reviewer, explains most of what happens.

When does the system approve, and when does a person?

A withdrawal goes through automatically when everything matches the standard: identity verification complete, money going back to the same method it came in by, names matching, and nothing unusual in the account’s behaviour.

A request drops into manual review when something makes the system “frown”: the profile has just changed sensitive details, the withdrawal is unusually large compared with your history, the withdrawal method does not match the deposit method, or the account shows odd activity.

At that point the request waits for a reviewer. The practical conclusion: keep the profile clean, the names matching and the method right, so the system has no reason to stop the request.

Which methods you can use: check your own Personal Area

Exness does not publish one fixed list of payment methods that applies to everyone. Its deposit guide, updated 01/06/2026, says the methods available depend on the region you registered in and the verification status of your account.

So choose a method displayed in your Personal Area, under Deposit and Withdrawal. Your list can differ from the list of the person sitting next to you, and lists published online can be out of date.

Before you deposit, look at each method’s own details on that screen: limits, processing time and any fee charged by the payment provider or your bank.

Can you deposit and withdraw at Exness with WebMoney?

Nothing from Exness itself says you can. A search of their whole help centre on 06/09/2026 turned up no article mentioning WebMoney. The only place that answers correctly for your own account is the Deposit section of your Personal Area.

Every withdrawal has 2 stages: work out which stage is slow before blaming the broker.

Your capital must go back through the method you deposited with

Many “why can’t I withdraw” cases come back to this anti-money-laundering rule: your original capital must return by the method you deposited with. If you deposited the equivalent of 200 USD through one method, the first 200 USD you withdraw goes back through that method.

Only the profit above what you deposited can go out through another method available to you. If you deposited through several methods, the system pays each one back in proportion to what you put in through it. The withdrawal screen shows each method’s limit, so you only need to follow it.

Use only payment methods held in your own name. A method in someone else’s name is sent back under anti-money-laundering rules.

Currency conversion: the cost that does not show as a fee

If you deposit in a currency different from your account currency, the payment provider converts it at its own rate, which is usually a little above the bank’s posted rate. When you withdraw, it converts a second time, so depositing and withdrawing straight away without trading can still leave you slightly short.

This is not the broker “cheating”. Compare the amount received with the market rate to see what the conversion costs you.

Withdrawal slow or failing: check in this order

  1. Is your account verification fully complete? The number one cause of all time. With a pending profile every withdrawal stands still, and the catch is that the system may still let you deposit, so many people only find out when they try to withdraw.
  2. Does the name on the payment method match your Exness name? Having a wife, husband or sibling receive the money in their name means it gets sent back, and support cannot resolve it. This is an anti-money-laundering rule, not broker policy.
  3. Are you withdrawing to a different method from your deposit? The system blocks it; switch back to the right method and try again.
  4. Any open positions? The margin holding up open positions is not available balance. Look at free margin, the money not tied up in open trades, before you withdraw.
  5. All four fine and the money still not there? Open live chat and give the withdrawal ID. With the ID, support can trace which stage the money is at.

A habit worth learning from long-time traders

Many people who have traded on Exness for years have a habit of withdrawing profit regularly, even small amounts of a few tens of USD.

They do it for two reasons that have nothing to do with distrusting the broker: (1) each withdrawal is a health check of the whole payment chain.

(2) Profit you have withdrawn is real profit, no longer a flickering number on a terminal that can evaporate in one revenge trade (a trade opened to win back a loss) at 2 am.

Frequently asked questions

How long does an Exness withdrawal take?

Most Exness withdrawals are processed automatically. Processing time may vary depending on the payment method you choose. The time shown next to each method in your Personal Area is the best guide for your own account.

Are there fees on Exness deposits and withdrawals?

Check the details shown next to each method in your Personal Area. Your payment provider or bank may charge its own fees, and converting between currencies has a cost too.

Why was my Exness withdrawal rejected?

Usually because account verification is not complete, the name on the payment method does not match, you withdrew by a different method from the one you deposited with, or open positions are still using the margin. Check these points before you withdraw.

What is the minimum deposit at Exness?

Exness does not publish one fixed figure: the minimum appears in the deposit section of your Personal Area and depends on account type and payment method.
